Understand the repair scope
The workshop measures and inspects both rotors on the affected axle, then checks pads, callipers and hub faces before deciding whether replacement is justified.
The callipers and old rotors are removed, mating surfaces are cleaned, and new rotors are fitted with new pads so the friction surfaces can bed together correctly.
